Light fractured
Glow splintered
Like the parts of my soul
That needed to cope
That I still contend with
A people pleaser
with a ‘heart of gold’
You say I don’t have a bad bone in
my body
It’s beautiful
and what no one ever saw
as a little one, I felt was true
But, now I’m scared
that I’ll do something to let you down
Fragments stretch
Daylight to darkness
We can be both deep raw energy
